Configuring and rolling out e-LG across 30 local authorities

Adapting the national e-Local Government platform to the workflows of 30 local authorities, with staff training and roll-out support.

01The challenge

ICTA’s e-LG product gives local authorities a common digital platform for their administrative services. But no two councils work in exactly the same way: processes, approval steps and local practices differ.

Each authority therefore needed the product configured to its own workflows, and its staff needed to be confident using the system once it went live.

02Our approach

Configuration was tailored to each authority’s own workflows and processes rather than applied as a single template.

Comprehensive staff training was part of the delivery, so that each roll-out was backed by people ready to use the system.

03The solution

  • Customisation and configuration of the e-LG product for the specific workflows of 30 local authorities.
  • Comprehensive training for local-authority staff.
  • Implementation and roll-out support through go-live.

04Capabilities

  • Platform configuration
  • Process analysis
  • User training
  • Multi-site roll-out
  • Public-sector delivery

05The outcome

  • A smooth implementation and roll-out across all 30 local authorities.
  • A significant improvement in administrative efficiency and service delivery at the participating authorities.
